Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) is an indicator of traction or friction present between two surfaces. A SCOF of 0.50 or greater is recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for normal human ambulation. Higher SCOF increases the traction, and therefore reduces the possibility of slips and falls.
Laboratory Tested - ASTM Safety RatedOur custom sole material used on Pro Shoe Covers, Maxtrek, CastMate and Meditread were tested and rated high on the safety scale. They received a combined SCOF of 1.375, which is 2.75 times the OSHA standard.

Particle testing was performed per IEST-RP-CC003.4, Appendix B, Section B.2.5. One pair of shoe covers was placed in the Helmke Drum and tumbled for ten minutes.

Three shoe cover samples were preconditioned at 70 + 2 degrees F and 50 + 3% relative humidity for 24 hours, then tested for surface resistivity using a Statico Model S2010 Surface Resistivity Meter.
All of our products are easy to care for and machine washable.
Just toss them in your washing machine with regular detergent that doesn’t contain bleach. Machine wash cold and air dry.
